SCS Australia requires applications from experienced Surveyors who can manage the complete workflow from field data capture through to finished survey models and machine-ready files.
n
This role would suit applicants with strong civil, mining or earthworks experience who is comfortable working independently across UAV surveying, 3D modelling, volumetrics and machine-control systems.
The Role:
n
n
UAV/drone surveying and aerial data capture
n
LiDAR and photogrammetry surveys
n
Establishing and maintaining survey control
n
RTK/GNSS surveying
n
Stockpile and earthworks volume calculations
n
Cut/fill and progress surveys
n
DTM, DSM and surface generation
n
3D terrain and design modelling
n
Preparing machine-control and guidance files
n
Uploading and managing designs in Trimble and Topcon systems
n
Machine localisation, calibration and QA
n
Weekly/fortnightly volume and progress reporting
n
Producing updated site imagery, maps and survey deliverables
n




Working with site teams to ensure machines are operating from current and accurate designs
n
Supporting design and planning work where required
n
What We're Looking For:

12d Model and/or 12d Field
n
Trimble Business Center
n
Trimble Access
n
Trimble GNSS equipment
n
UAV photogrammetry and/or LiDAR
n
Civil or mining earthworks
n
Machine guidance and 3D machine-control models
n
Volume calculations and progress reporting
n
Survey control and site localisation
n
Experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Virtual Surveyor, Agisoft, Pix4D or similar software would also be highly regarded.

About You:

We are looking for someone who can take a project from:
n
Drone / field survey, point cloud, surface/model, volumes , machine-control files, machine QA
n
You need to be practical, technically capable and comfortable working directly with operators, supervisors and project teams.
