cmr are currently seeking experienced Community Mental Health Clinical Nurses for travel and contract opportunities across Queensland Health services.
n
These locum style community roles give you the flexibility to explore Queensland from coastal towns to regional hubs while working in supportive, recovery focused Mental Health teams.

What the role involves:
n
These roles are dynamic and community based, giving you exposure to a wide range of Mental Health presentations and service models. Depending on the placement, your work may include:
n
n
Intake & triage: Assessing referrals and determining urgency and level of care
n
Case management: Coordinating ongoing care for consumers with complex mental health needs
n
Community outreach: Supporting consumers in their homes and local environments
n
Clinical assessment: Mental health, risk, and psychosocial assessments
n
Care coordination: Working with families, GPs, NGOs and multidisciplinary teams
n
Crisis response: Supporting consumers during periods of heightened risk or deterioration
n




CIMHA documentation: Maintaining accurate clinical records in line with Queensland Health systems
n
Recovery-focused practice: Supporting independence, stability and community engagement
n
n
What you'll need:
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
Proven experience as a Mental Health Clinical Nurse
n
Strong community Mental Health case management experience (essential)
n
Experience within Queensland Health services
n
Confident use of CIMHA clinical system
n
Current driver's licence (essential for community travel)
n
Ability to work autonomously across varied community settings
n
n
