Public Sector People are working closely with councils in the eastern and southeastern suburbs to recruit an Asset Protection Permit Officer for a 3-month temporary contract.
n

Band 4

Working arrangement:
Hybrid
Key Responsibilities n
n
Review and assess Asset Protection and related permit applications, including appeals against unsuccessful applications.
n
Assess permit and consent requests from Public Authorities, developers and contractors, ensuring applications meet Council requirements.
n
Review Traffic Management Plans and identify where additional permits, approvals or referrals to other Council departments are required.
n
Process a range of applications and requests
n




Assist with updating the database with results of investigations, recommendations and legal notices
n
Provide outstanding customer service by dealing with incoming queries
n
Where appropriate, educate the community around Local Laws and other relevant regulation and Acts that protect the amenity and infrastructure of the community
n
Key Criteria n
n
Solid administrative background
n
Traffic management experience is essential
n
Ability to read, design, implement and assess traffic management plans.
n
Ability to deal with challenging customers
n
Local council experience is highly regarded
n
