About the Role
n
We require a Casual Logistics Officer for a company that services, calibrates and repairs a range of test equipment for a host of ever-expanding industries including, telecommunication, medical, aviation and military. This role requires an enthusiastic and passionate individual, who has a willingness to learn and ability to prioritise and coordinate warehouse and logistics activities. Training will be provided and the opportunity to work with a energetic team and to work in a world-class facility.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Unpacking and packing of boxes/deliveries following documented packing procedures
n
Arranging
collection/dispatch
of goods to and from the laboratory
n
Liaising with logistics brokers and companies regarding shipments, problem solving issues as they arise
n
Registration of customer and internal assets into the ERP system, and preparation of all required information to enable an efficient and accurate service
n
Assisting Service Coordinators / CSRs with admin tasks
n




Providing excellent customer service to our clients in-person and on the phone
n
Performing general laboratory administration and logistics tasks, including moving assets between departments and ensuring outgoing assets are clean and have appropriate calibration labels etc.
n
Other laboratory/admin tasks as delegated by the Customer Care Manager
n
Delivering service to company KPI's and QA
n
Maintenance of our internal and customers fleet of equipment
n
Compliance with our requirements for operating a metrology laboratory
n
n
