Senior Databricks Engineer
to join a high-performing technology team and play a key role in the backend migration and modernisation of a critical
enterprise Investment Data Platform
.
Role Overview n
This role will see an experienced backend/data engineer work collaboratively with a team of highly skilled Investment Data Technology specialists and investment stakeholders.
n
You will help design, build and migrate scalable backend data solutions using
Databricks, Python and SQL
, supporting critical investment, reference and security data across the organisation.
Experience and Skills n
n
Strong commercial
Databricks
engineering experience
n
Excellent
Python and SQL
development skills
n
Strong backend and data engineering experience
n
Experience building and maintaining complex
ETL / ELT and data pipelines
n
Experience with large-scale enterprise data platforms
n
Investment Management, Asset Management,



Superannuation or Financial Markets experience highly regarded
n
Experience with
Investment Data Platforms
highly regarded
n
Security Master, Reference Data, Market Data and/or Investment Data experience advantageous
n
Strong understanding of data modelling, data quality and data integration
n
Cloud data engineering experience
n
Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
n
