About the role
n
As the Bar Manager reporting to Group Bar Manager, you will be responsible for:
n
Overseeing the preparation of beverages and ensuring quality of product served.
n




Working alongside the operations team to improve systems and process
n
Preparing weekly schedules for the bar team.
n
Monitoring beverage inventory to ensure adequate stock levels to target.
n
Overseeing cleanliness of the bar area, paying special attention to possible health and safety hazards.
n
Reviewing sales and beverage costs with the management team and ensure cost of goods are within the given target.
n
Resolving customer complaints promptly and according to company guidelines.
n
About you
n
We are looking for someone with:
n
Creativity and good knowledge of the products
n
A natural at giving warm hospitality
n
Basic understanding of COGs and stock management
n
Loves the theatre of hospitality and gets a genuine kick out of
making someone's night special
.
n
Experience in a similar-sized venue and knowledge of the Melbourne food and beverage scene is a plus (but not essential).
