About the Role n
n
This
Graduate Lawyer
position is suited to a junior practitioner who already has exposure to
personal injury law
and is ready to transition into a more autonomous and responsibility-driven role.
n
You will work closely with the firms Principal and other solicitors, supporting the end-to-end management of compensation claims from initial instructions through to settlement and litigation.
n
This is a high-exposure role offering genuine responsibility early in your career in
personal injury law
.
Key Responsibilities n
n
n
Assisting with carriage of personal injury and insurance compensation matters
n
Drafting legal correspondence, court documents,



and settlement submissions
n
Conducting legal research across Queensland personal injury legislation and case law
n
Preparing briefs for counsel, medical experts, and barristers
n
Supporting client communication and maintaining strong file progression
n
Assisting with liability assessment, quantum analysis, and settlement preparation
n
About You n
n
You are a motivated and detail-oriented junior lawyer with
prior experience in personal injury law
and a strong desire to further develop your litigation expertise.
n
You will have:
n
n
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent qualification
n
Eligibility for admission as a solicitor in Queensland (or completing PLT)
n
Previous experience in personal injury law (legal clerkship, paralegal, or junior solicitor role)
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills
n
A genuine interest in plaintiff personal injury or insurance litigation
n
A professional, empathetic, and client-focused approach
n
n
You will be highly regarded if you also have:

Experience in litigation, insurance, or compensation law environments
n
Strong academic performance in torts, civil procedure, or evidence
n
