The Role & Duties n
Work with an experienced maintenance team to support the reliability and performance of underground and surface mining equipment through planned maintenance, workshop duties and breakdowns.
n

Operating surface and underground fuel trucks while completing machinery inspections.
n
Servicing, diagnosing and repairing heavy mobile mining equipment.
n
Responding to breakdowns and carrying out preventative maintenance.
n
Completing component change-outs and mechanical fault finding, including basic hydraulic systems.
n
Working across a range of OEM equipment including Sandvik, CAT, Normet and Elphinstone.

Travel & Camp n
Enjoy an easy FIFO arrangement with excellent camp facilities and minimal travel time to site. This is an 8:6 roster offering work-life balance and being close to home in QLD.

Short bus transfer from airport to site and camp located close to the mine.

Your Skills & Experience n
To be successful within this role and hit the ground running you will need to have the following:
n
n
Heavy diesel trade qualification in Cert III or equivalent.
n
Proven experience working on heavy equipment e.g. earthmoving, agricultural or civil.
n
Open cut or underground mining experience is highly regarded.
n
Strong safety focus and ability to work effectively within a team.
n
Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical and police clearance.
