What you'll be doing in this role n
As a valued member of our team, you'll provide compassionate care and support to residents, helping them maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.
n
You will:
n
n
Provide personal care including showering, dressing, grooming and mobility support.
n
Assist residents during mealtimes and with activities of daily living.
n
Support medication assistance and simple wound care where required.
n
Build meaningful relationships with residents and provide emotional support and companionship.
n
Encourage participation in social and recreational activities.
n
Work closely with the leadership team to identify opportunities for service improvement.
n
Promote best practice documentation and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
n
Contribute to a positive team culture by supporting best practice, sharing knowledge and helping maintain consistently high standards of care.
n

Who we're looking for n
You're an experienced aged care professional who communicates with confidence, builds rapport easily and enjoys working collaboratively with others. You lead through example, support your colleagues and are passionate about delivering high-quality care that makes a genuine difference in residents' lives.
n

Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
n
Demonstrated experience working in residential aged care, with a solid understanding of person-centred care practices.
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
n
Confident collaborating across teams and supporting positive outcomes through professional communication and a solutions-focused approach.
n
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation.
n
Well-organised and able to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
n
A proactive mindset, with the confidence to share ideas, support best practice and contribute positively to team outcomes.
n
