Position Overview n
We are seeking an experienced and skilled
Welder/Fabricator
to join our team on a full-time basis. The primary focus of this role is
MIG welding of aluminium and stainless steel
, producing high-quality architectural components and assemblies. The successful candidate will also be competent in
TIG welding
for finer detail work when required.

The position suits someone with robust fabrication experience, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver clean, accurate welds and finishes suitable for architectural applications.
Key Responsibilities n
n
n
Perform precision
MIG welding
of aluminium and stainless steel as the primary task.
n
n
Carry out
TIG welding
when required for detailed or specialty applications.
n
n
Fabricate and assemble architectural metal products to workshop drawings and specifications.
n
n
Read and interpret detailed fabrication drawings, cutting lists,



and QC checklists.
n
n
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to maintain finish and accuracy standards.
n
n
Safely operate workshop equipment (saws, linishers, presses, grinders, etc.) as needed.
n
n
Support site installation preparation or assembly tasks when required.
n
n
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in line with company policies and SWMS.
n
Skills & Experience n
n
n
Minimum
3–5 years' experience
in metal fabrication and welding.
n
n
Proven expertise in
MIG welding of aluminium and stainless steel
.
n
n
Competent in
TIG welding
for precision or detailed work.
n
n
Ability to read and interpret technical and CAD workshop drawings.
n
n
High attention to detail with consistent, high-quality workmanship.
n
n
Strong understanding of fabrication and finishing processes.
n
n
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a small, high-performing team.
n
n
Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
n
n
Relevant trade qualifications (Cert III in
Engineering/Fabrication
or equivalent) preferred.
n
