You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of laboratory and field-testing operations, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and NATA requirements, while leading a team that includes direct supervision of two Laboratory Supervisors.
Key responsibilities n
n
Manage all aspects of three laboratories, operating within set financial targets, and supervise staff including two direct-report Laboratory Supervisors
n
Implement and monitor OH&S; policies and procedures, and ensure ongoing compliance with NATA and Quality Accreditation requirements
n
Establish and maintain quality control testing programs, checking and issuing accredited test certificates with a focus on accuracy and turnaround time
n
Plan and manage testing operations, coordinate training for laboratory and field technicians,



and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
n
Contribute to business growth through customer relationships, mentoring the team, and travel between sites as required
n
About you n
n
Minimum 5 years' experience managing a NATA-accredited laboratory, with solid experience in concrete and aggregate testing
n
Certificate IV in Laboratory Management (or working towards)
n
Suitable qualification in concrete technology or similar field
n
NATA signatory status
n
Driven, assertive, and an excellent communicator
n
Experience in chemical testing is desirable but not essential
n
