Cathedral Lodge & Golf Club is seeking an experienced and polished
Restaurant Manager
to lead our front-of-house restaurant operations at one of Australia's most exclusive private golf destinations.
n

About the Role n
As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our restaurant and dining service, leading the front-of-house team and ensuring Cathedral's service standards are consistently delivered.
n
Working closely with our Food & Beverage and Kitchen teams, you will create a professional, welcoming and highly personalised dining experience for our members and guests.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Managing the day-to-day restaurant and front-of-house operations
n
Leading, supervising and supporting the restaurant service team
n
Coordinating restaurant service to ensure a seamless member and guest experience
n
Managing daily floor plans, sections, bookings and service requirements
n




Conducting pre-service briefings and allocating team responsibilities
n
Maintaining exceptional food, wine and beverage service standards
n
Developing robust knowledge of menus, wines and beverage offerings
n
Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth communication throughout service
n
Anticipating member and guest needs and resolving service issues professionally
n
Training and developing front-of-house employees
n
Supporting onboarding and ongoing service training
n
Ensuring presentation, grooming and uniform standards are maintained
n
Assisting with functions, events and special dining experiences
n
Ensuring RSA, food safety and relevant workplace procedures are followed
n
Maintaining restaurant presentation and readiness to an exceptional standard
n
Supporting stock control, ordering and beverage management where required
n
Building a positive, professional and high-performing team culture
n
Previous Experience n
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
n
n
Minimum 3-5 years' experience within restaurant or food and beverage operationsand/ or a Diploma level hospitality qualification
