As a Quality & Compliance Business Partner, you'll play a key role in supporting our services to meet regulatory and quality standards while building the capability of our teams across NSW.
This is an opportunity to use your expertise to coach, guide and empower service leaders, strengthen compliance practices and drive continuous improvement.
About the role
As the Quality & Compliance Business Partner, you'll support services to operate in line with relevant legislation, regulations and JAG policies and procedures.
Working in a
hybrid environment, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home
, you'll collaborate with Service Managers, Educators, leadership teams and external stakeholders to build a strong culture of accountability, safety and quality.
This is a 6-9 month fixed-term contract, with potential for extension.
You'll be responsible for:
Conducting audits and site visits to assess compliance with quality frameworks and organisational standards
Supporting services with Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs), action plans and corrective actions
Coaching and guiding service leaders to strengthen quality practices and outcomes
Supporting external regulatory audits and inspections
Monitoring legislative and regulatory changes and communicating updates across the business
Acting as a key contact for state-based regulatory authorities




Championing safeguarding and child protection practices across JAG
Supporting safeguarding training and capability development
Assisting with the investigation and management of safeguarding, compliance, safety and quality incidents
Developing, reviewing and maintaining policies and procedures
Identifying compliance and quality training needs and partnering with Learning & Development on solutions
Providing advice on risk management, child safety, safeguarding and incident management
Driving continuous improvement and supporting services to achieve solid National Quality Standard outcomes
About you
You'll bring strong knowledge and experience in the Education and Care sector, with a genuine passion for quality, compliance and child safety.
To be successful, you'll have:
3-5 years' experience in compliance, quality assurance or regulatory roles within Education and Care
In-depth knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law, National Quality Standards, reportable conduct schemes and Child Protection legislation
Proven experience conducting audits, compliance reviews and developing QIPs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence a range of stakeholders
Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
A proactive,



solutions-focused approach to compliance challenges
A passion for best-practice outcomes and developing the capability of others
Previous experience working with sector and state-based regulators, highly regarded
A valid Working with Children Check and current driver's licence
Willingness to travel across NSW for site visits and work outside normal business hours when required
