Act as the primary HR contact for business leaders within designated regions and divisions Coach and advise managers on performance, conduct, and workforce capability issues Partner with leaders to deliver workforce planning, succession planning, and capability development initiatives Provide onboarding support for new leaders, including the facilitation of manager induction training to ensure understanding of people management expectations and company processes Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary processes and grievances; identify and escalate high-risk matters (e.g. senior leader involvement, harassment or serious misconduct allegations, external legal representation, general protections risk) to the Senior IR/ER Specialist and EGM People Safety Apply working knowledge of relevant industrial instruments (Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements, Fair Work Act) to support day-to-day people management decisions, escalating award/EA interpretation, classification, or entitlement disputes to the Senior IR/ER Specialist Support enterprise bargaining, consultation and change management processes Identify and escalate enterprise bargaining activity, protected industrial action risk, and Fair Work Commission proceedings to the Senior IR/ER Specialist Ensure compliance with company policies, employment legislation, and safety obligations within designated regions Coordinate and analyse stay surveys to identify factors influencing employee retention and engagement, and partner with leaders to implement improvement actions Lead and support employee engagement initiatives,
including post-survey action planning and communication Support leadership and team development activities that build a high-performance and inclusive culture Partner with the business to implement initiatives that strengthen diversity, equity, and inclusion outcomes Lead and participate in HR projects, policy reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR service delivery Support the rollout of national people programs, engagement initiatives, capability frameworks, and talent reviews Analyse workforce data and metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement Oversee key employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, probation reviews, performance reviews, and exit management Support the annual remuneration review and short-term incentive programs Ensure employee records and HR data are maintained accurately and in compliance with company and legislative requirements Collaborate with the Safety and Wellbeing teams to promote a strong safety culture across all sites Who we are At REMONDIS, you'll be part of a cleaner, more sustainable future.
