About the Opportunity As Regional General Manager, you will provide leadership and direction to a network of Branch Managers, taking overall responsibility for sales growth, profitability, customer engagement, operational standards and leadership development across the region.
You will be highly visible within the business, spending significant time in branches coaching leaders, supporting teams and identifying opportunities to improve performance.
Success in this role requires balancing strong commercial outcomes with genuine leadership capability.
You will challenge and support your team in equal measure, creating an environment where high performance, accountability and continuous improvement are embraced.
Key Responsibilities Commercial Leadership Drive sustainable sales growth and profitability across the region.
Support Branch Managers to improve commercial and financial performance.
Identify opportunities to increase market share, productivity and customer retention.
Monitor key business metrics and take action to improve outcomes.




Leadership Team Development Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability and results.
Coach and develop Branch Managers and emerging leaders.
Identify succession opportunities and develop future talent.
Manage performance constructively and consistently.
Operational Excellence Ensure strong execution across safety, inventory management, compliance and customer service.
Drive consistency of operational standards across all branches.
Identify opportunities to improve business processes and effectiveness.
Customer Market Growth Support the development of strategic customer relationships.
Assist branches to identify new business opportunities.
Maintain a solid understanding of local market dynamics and competitive activity.
About You To be successful in this position, you will bring: Proven leadership success within a multi-site operational environment.
Strong commercial and financial acumen.
Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
The ability to influence, coach and build capability in others.
A track record of delivering improved business performance.
Strong communication, planning and decision-making skills.
While experience within the electrical wholesale industry would be highly regarded, we also welcome applications from candidates with leadership experience in industrial distribution, manufacturing, logistics, retail, trade services or similar operational environments.
Prior experience with the Pronto ERP system would be considered an advantage but is not essential.
