Accounts Officer Sunnybank Hills | $85,000 + Super | Full-Time An exciting opportunity has become available to join a growing construction SME in a newly created and varied finance and administration position.
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and wants to become an integral part of a close-knit business.
You will support payroll, accounts payable, bookkeeping and project administration, with the opportunity to take on greater responsibility as you develop within the role.
Key Responsibilities Process weekly payroll for approximately 30 employees and ***** subcontractors Coordinate employee and subcontractor onboarding Process accounts payable and maintain accurate supplier records Complete bank and account reconciliations Assist with month-end processes and BAS and IAS preparation Maintain accurate financial records in Xero Raise purchase orders and process daily labour and material dockets Assist with stocktakes and management of the asset register Support project managers and supervisors with project documentation Provide general project and office administration support Assist with project costing, progress claims and retentions where required About You Previous experience across payroll, accounts payable,



bookkeeping or finance administration Strong working knowledge of Xero Experience within construction, trades or an SME environment would be highly regarded Exposure to project costing, progress claims or retentions would be advantageous Comfortable balancing transactional finance with general administration Proactive, versatile and willing to assist wherever needed Organised, dependable and able to work autonomously Experience using LiveCosts, Hubdoc or Synchronise would be beneficial but is not essential What's on Offer Salary of $85,000 + superannuation Permanent, full-time position Choice of 8:00am–4:00pm or 7:00am–3:30pm working hours Sunnybank Hills location Broad and varied position within a growing business Opportunity to develop the role and take on greater responsibility Supportive and close-knit working environment If you are an experienced finance and administration professional looking for a varied position where you can make a genuine impact, please apply today for a confidential discussion.
