OVERVIEW Acknowledge Education is seeking two Admissions Officers to join the Admissions team at the Bourke Street Campus in Melbourne CBD.
This role supports prospective and current students throughout the admissions process by assessing applications, preparing documentation and providing accurate information in a collaborative education environment.
The position reports to the Admissions Manager and focuses on delivering an efficient and supportive admissions experience.
Candidates with admissions or student administration experience and knowledge of international education processes will be well suited to this opportunity.
Key responsibilities
Assess student applications against entry and admissions
Requirements
Prepare and issue Letters of Offer
Assess Genuine Student Requirement (GSR) applications in line with policies and procedures
Issue Confirmations of Enrolment (CoEs) in accordance with ESOS
Requirements
Provide clear and timely information to prospective and current students
Respond to enquiries via phone, email and in person
Work closely with education agents and external stakeholders
Maintain accurate student information and records while respecting privacy and confidentiality
Collaborate with Student Services, Student Recruitment, Marketing, academic teams and other internal areas
Support campus initiatives, events and activities that contribute to a positive student experience
Help applications progress accurately and efficiently from assessment through to enrolment
Requirements
Previous experience in admissions, student administration or a similar role
Experience assessing student applications against entry or admissions
Requirements
Knowledge of the Australian international education environment
Understanding of relevant regulatory requirements, including ESOS and the National Code
Experience using student management, admissions or CRM systems
Strong administration skills and attention to detail
Confident written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines and high-volume workloads
Organised, collaborative and student-focused approach
Ability to apply policies and admissions criteria consistently
