This unique role blends hospitalitywith hands-on learning, supporting students as they gain real-worldexperience in our Café Program.
As a CaféAssistant,you'llplay a key role inmanaging foodorders and stock control,receivingdeliveriesandmaintainingkitchensafety and cleanliness.
You'llbe rosteredacross weekdays (Monday toFriday) , with flexibility basedon the Café Program scheduleduring term timeonly.

KeyDuties
Supporting studentswith curriculum-based Learning Outcomes for the CafeProgram
Collaborating with the CaféManager to guide and evaluate studentperformance
Prepare food trays/trolleys forpractical classes asneeded
Collaborate with Café Managerfor food orders andprocureadditionalgoodsasnecessary
Ensure proper storage of fruit,vegetables, and colditems
Participateinstock-takesand attendmeetings




Purchase of goods not includedin bulk orders asrequired
Model and live the CaulfieldGrammar School values andbehaviours.
Skills andExperience
Experience with Practical FoodHygiene
Previousexposure to Foodpreparation
The ability to communicateeffectively and work collaboratively withinateam
Any relevant Food or Hospitalityqualifications wouldbedesirable
First Aid Certificatewouldbeadvantageous
