Your new role - Senior Export Coordinator
n
This position will be responsible for coordinating the export function from receipt of an order through to delivery with a focus on Air and Domestic, FCL, LCL and / or Breakbulk shipments. Managing pricing requests is also part of this role
n
The Senior Export Coordinator is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:
n
n
Liaising with customers and overseas offices to coordinate export enquiries and shipments
n
Registering Export shipments in Carowise (CW1) and coordinating export clearance formalities with PFS Customs Broker.
n
Coordinating AQIS inspections and formalities
n
Monitoring progress of customs and quarantine clearance via IC S and communicating the outcome to the customer
n
Coordinating deliveries of customs released freight to destination and de-hire containers to empty depots
n




Preparing & issuing RFQ's to internal & external customers
n
Completing billing process; timely and accurately coding of supplier's invoices and preparing files for handover to PFS Accounts as per contracted rate agreements
n
Deliver a very high level of customer service to all parties
n
Participating in general office tasks as required
n

What you'll need to succeed
n
n
Minimum 2 – 3 years' experience in a similar position
n
Senior Export Coordinator experience
n
Knowledge of customs and freight forwarding terminology
n
Current exposure to & use of CW1 - quoting & file management
n
Strong problem-solving skills
n
Confident in conflict resolution
n
Advanced negotiation and relationship skills
n
High level customer service skills
n
Positive and professional attitude
n
Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
n
High attention to detail and strong planning and organization skills
n
Ability to priorities tasks effectively in a busy work environment
n
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
n
Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
n
Excellent working knowledge of Customs IC S and Cargowise (CW1) computer systems
n
