Paynter Dixon is looking for an experienced
Contract Administrator
to join our team delivering a major construction project in NSW.

Working closely with the Project Manager, Contract Manager and Senior Contract Administrator, you'll play a key role across
procurement, subcontract management, variations, claims, cost control, contractual administration and final account
.

The Opportunity n
As Contract Administrator, you'll help protect Paynter Dixon's commercial position throughout the project lifecycle.
n
You'll be responsible for:
n
n
Administering head contracts and subcontracts.
n
Managing variations, claims and extensions of time.
n
Preparing and assessing progress claims and payment schedules.
n
Managing subcontractor procurement, tendering and negotiations.
n
Monitoring contractual notices and critical
timeframes.Supporting
monthly cost reporting and forecasting.
n
Managing retentions, securities, guarantees and insurance requirements.
n
Maintaining accurate and defensible contractual records.
n
Identifying commercial risks and escalating them early
n
Working closely with the project team to understand scope, programme and cost impacts.
n
Assisting with final accounts and project close-out.
n

What You'll Bring n
We're looking for someone who is
commercially switched-on, highly organised and ready to take ownership
.
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
A tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
n
2+ years' construction contract administration experience.
n
Experience with variations, progress claims and subcontractor payments.
n
Knowledge of Australian Standard-form contracts such as AS ****, AS ****, AS ****, GC21 or NEC.
n
Understanding of NSW Security of Payment legislation.
n
Strong contractual and commercial awareness.
n
Advanced Excel skills.
n
Experience with systems such as CHEOPS, Procore, Aconex, Procure Pro and Hammertech.
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management capability.
n
Exceptional attention to detail.
n
A proactive approach to commercial risk.
n
Construction White Card and the right to work in Australia.
