The Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) Manager leads the HSEQ Team and is responsible for maintaining a compliant EOS Defence Systems Quality Management System (QMS) thereby ensuring customer confidence in our processes and products. The role is fully responsible for business unit Quality systems and implements H,S&E; systems in support of the corporate H,S&E; framework.

The HSEQ Manager will also lead the development of the Management Systems to achieve certification against Environmental (ISO *****) and Occupational Health and Safety (ISO *****) requirements if required. The HSEQ Manager will also evolve the Quality System from compliance against ISO **** to AS**** if required.

This is a 12-month Full-time Fixed term position to cover parental leave based at Hume, Canberra.
n
nPrimary Duties: n
n
Executive Control over EOS's QMS, internal product & process standard and system
complianceimpactingcustomer,
production & supplier quality.
n
n
Develop andmaintaina World Class Quality Organization, provide a risk-based Quality Management System
culture,maintainand
achieve site qualification consistent with global strategy, Direct Root Cause,



Corrective Actions and provide a Quality Face to the Customer.
n
n
Implement and integrate environmental and occupational health and safety into an Integrated Management System.
n
n
Maintain compliance with our Management System processes.
n
n
Maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI)in accordance withour Management System.
n
n
Work with the business to focus on continual improvement.
n
n
Ensure our processes and
documentationalignswith
and meets our contract requirements.
n
n
Develop & train staff on how to resolve Root Cause and develop Corrective Actions for Supplier Quality, Production Quality, Customerissuesand other issues.
n
n
Develop strong liaisons within the company to ensure organisational alignment and focus on Quality across all functions.
n
n
Seek cross functional alignments to further the profitability and Compliance Culture for EOS.
n
n
Other duties as required by the VP Production & Support.
n
nKey Attributes: n

Minimum 3 years' experience in similar capacity.
n
n
Recognised qualification in applicable field of study
n
n
Works cooperatively with teams and individuals.
n
n
Establish and maintain strong Interpersonal skills.
n
n
Ability to lead outcomes and deliverables systematically
