About the Role n
Join Note Printing Australia as an
Accounts Payable Officer
and support accurate, timely and compliant financial processing across the business. This
18 month maximum term contract
is a excellent opportunity to bring your accounts payable experience to a collaborative Finance team while contributing to process improvement, including Procure to Pay automation.
n
Reporting to the Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for end-to-end accounts payable processing, supplier payments, reconciliations and related financial administration. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to support timely approvals, resolve issues and maintain accurate supplier and payment information.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Process supplier invoices, verify transactions, reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies and coordinate the end-to-end payment process.
n
Monitor small business supplier payments to ensure compliance with the Payment Times Reporting Act ****.
n
Maintain supplier master data, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and appropriate controls.
n
Collaborate with internal departments to support timely invoice approvals, issue resolution, and process compliance.
n
Provide clear guidance to staff on accounts payable processes and requirements.
n
Assist with month-end tasks, reporting, and financial data support as required.
n
Support the Assistant Accountant, Senior Business Analyst, and Financial Accountant with transaction processing, analysis, and hedge-related payment activities as needed.
n
Support the implementation of the Procure to Pay automation project.

What we're looking for n
n
Demonstrated experience in an Accounts Payable, Finance, or similar transactional role.
n
Advanced level skills in Excel.
n
Solid systems capability, including experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and BI systems.
n
Ability to interpret purchase orders, invoices, and financial documentation.
n
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
n
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
n
Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
