Mars property maintenance – Slacks Creek QLD
n
This is a hands‐on, site‐based position focused on monitoring renovation progress, inspecting workmanship, coordinating trades, identifying defects and outstanding works, and assisting with project completion and handover.
Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese is essential for this position.
Key responsibilities n
Attend renovation sites across Brisbane to monitor project progress
n
Follow up with trades and contractors regarding scheduled and outstanding works
n
Check completed works against the approved scope and project requirements
n
Inspect workmanship and identify defects, incomplete works or items requiring rectification
n
Conduct progress inspections and completion inspections
n
Coordinate with trades regarding rectification and outstanding works
n
Monitor project progress and report any delays or issues
n
Take clear progress and completion photos and maintain accurate site records
n
Provide regular site updates to the internal team
n
Assist with practical completion inspections and project handover
About you n
Practical experience in residential renovation,



construction, building maintenance or site coordination
n
Good practical understanding of residential renovation and construction
n
Ability to understand scopes of work and check whether works have been completed correctly
n
Strong eye for workmanship, quality and detail
n
Ability to identify defects, incomplete works and potential issues onsite
n
Confidence communicating with trades, contractors and clients
n
Organised and capable of managing multiple site visits and follow-ups
n
Valuable problem‐solving skills and a strong sense of responsibility
n
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
n
