nThe Opportunity n
n
Reporting to the Training Coordinator, we are seeking a skilled Technical Training Officer to join the Human Resources and Training team. The team is a multi-discipline team that is responsible for providing direct support to all areas of the business to ensure the safe operation of people, plant and equipment.
n
n
The successful candidate is required to develop and update all Maintenance, CHPP and Support staff site-based training and assessment materials. This role is also responsible for the site implementation of Paperless Training via Ideagen Forms.
n
n
Working a day shift Monday to Friday roster you will be responsible for:
n
n
n
n
Development and updating of training and assessment materials;
n
n
Development and updating of Ideagen learning E-lessons;
n
n
Ensure all training documents are version controlled;
n
n
Design, develop, implement and monitor Paperless Training via Ideagen Forms;
n
n
Maintain positive working relationships with Ideagen Learning system stakeholders;
n
n
Maintain positive working relationships with competent subject matter experts;
n
n
Conduct gap analysis with appropriate stakeholders to identify training requirements for the Maintenance Technical Training Program (i.e. technical skills improvement plan);

n
Reconcile training records against Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and business needs (e.g. Department reporting);
n
n
Attend and contribute training related improvements to site critical risk consultative groups;
n
n
Ideagen (Learning Management System) system improvements (e.g. identifying issues and errors in LMS system and raising tickets to resolve);
n
n
Troubleshooting and general maintenance of Ideagen hardware and accounts;
n
n
n
nQualifications and Experience n
n
The desired candidate will have:
n
n
n
n
Tertiary qualifications in Certificate IV Training and Assessment;
n
n
Trade/Engineering qualifications;
n
n
Demonstrated commitment to safety improvement and safe behaviours;
n
n
Demonstrated understanding of relevant legislation, policies, procedures and national standards for competency based training;
n
n
The ability to work with people at all levels;
n
n
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills;
n
n
Strong system skills and computer literacy;
n
n
The ability to work both independently and part of a team;
n
n
High level understanding of an Open Cut Coal Mine and preferably Coal Handling Plant;
n
n
Strong training systems software knowledge (e.g. Ideagen Workforce Safety System)
n
n
