Key responsibilities

Being responsible for supporting and developing Beginning Child Protection Practitioners in the integration of theory and practice while demonstrating your expertise through case practice.
n
Conducting risk assessments and investigations.
n
Managing complex cases, problem solving and presenting matters to the Children's Court of Victoria as required.
n
Delivering case practice and case management services for children and young people who are either living with family or placed in out of home care.
n

What you need
n
n
Ideally, you will have a minimum of two years' case work or similar relevant experience in child and family social work.
n
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa necessary for the nature of the position.
n
Preferred candidates will have a social work, welfare, psychology related qualification and/or relevant experience.
