An established organisation with a formidable reputation in the construction and infrastructure sector is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join its People & Culture team. This is an opportunity to join a complex, operationally focused organisation undergoing significant transformation, with continued investment in its people, systems, operating model and future workforce capability.
n
Our client is looking for a commercially minded HR professional who can partner confidently with senior leaders while remaining hands‐on across employee relations, organisational change, workforce planning and leadership coaching.
n
About the Role
n
You will partner with a large portfolio, supporting corporate and business functions and working closely with senior leaders and people managers.
n
This is a genuine People Partnering role, broad enough to provide end-to-end HR partnering, with the depth and confidence to personally manage operational people matters.
n
You will:
n
n
Partner with senior leaders to translate business priorities into practical people plans.
n
Coach leaders on performance, accountability, leadership capability and effective people management.
n
Support restructures, organisational realignment, consultation and broader transformation activity.
n
Challenge and test business requests to understand the underlying workforce issue before recommending a solution.
n
Provide practical advice across the employee lifecycle,
including performance, conduct, engagement, retention, talent and capability.
n
Manage day-to-day employee relations matters, with specialist support available for complex ER/IR matters.
n
Support workforce planning and capability planning in response to organisational growth and transformation.
n
Contribute to talent, succession, mobility and leadership development initiatives.
n
Use workforce data and HR systems to support informed decision‐making.
n
Work closely with People Services, Talent, Employee Relations and other specialist People & Culture teams.
n
n
About You
n
You will be an experienced HR Business Partner with strong generalist capability and demonstrated success working within a complex organisation.
n
You will bring:
n
n
Significant HRBPexperience.
n
Experience partnering with senior leaders and executives.
n
Strong employee relations and case‐management capability.
n
Experience supporting organisational change, restructures and transformation.
n
Exposure to workforce planning, talent, succession and capability development.
n
Strong leadership coaching, influencing and stakeholder‐management skills.
n
The confidence to constructively challenge leaders and provide commercially grounded advice.
n
Sound judgement in complex, sensitive and ambiguous situations.
n
Strong analytical and problem‐solving capability.
n
Confidence working with Excel, HR data and contemporary HR systems.
n
Experience
withininfrastructure,engineering,
transport, construction, resources or another operational/asset‐intensive environment will be highly regarded.
n
Exposure to unionised workforces and industrial relations will be advantageous.
n
