This is a great opportunity for an experienced operator looking for ongoing work, a solid roster and competitive rates.
THE ROLE n
You will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating loaders and excavators across site, supporting production and general earthmoving activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES n
n
Safely operate loaders and excavators
n
Complete daily pre-starts and equipment inspections
n
Perform bulk earthworks, material movement and general earthmoving duties
n
Load and move materials safely and efficiently
n
Work to production targets and site requirements
n
Identify and report equipment faults or maintenance requirements
n




Maintain a high standard of housekeeping around operating areas
n
Follow all site safety procedures and environmental requirements
n
Work effectively as part of a wider site team
n
ABOUT YOU n
To be successful, you will have:
n
n
Demonstrated experience operating
loaders and excavators
n
Previous experience in mining, civil, quarrying or earthmoving environments
n
Relevant tickets and VOCs for the machinery you operate
n
Strong safety awareness and commitment
n
Ability to work effectively on a
2:1 roster
n
Reliable and strong work ethic
n
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
n
Current driver's licence
n
