About the Role
As an Automotive Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining electrical systems across a range of heavy vehicles and equipment. You will also perform electrical fit-outs on new vehicles and support both workshop and field service operations.
Key responsibilities include:
Electrical diagnostics and fault finding
Repair and maintenance of heavy vehicle electrical systems
Electrical upfit and installation work on new vehicles
Completion of service documentation and job reports
Pre-delivery inspections and testing
Supporting workshop and field service activities
Delivering exceptional customer service
Working safely and maintaining high-quality workmanship standards
About You
To be successful, you will have:
Automotive Electrical Trade Qualification
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Experience working on heavy vehicles, trucks, engines or related equipment
Ability to interpret technical information and service documentation
Commitment to safety and quality standards
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
