An established and growing property and construction business is expanding its finance capability and is seeking an experienced Mortgage Broker to join the team.
n
This is an opportunity to work across a strong pipeline of property-related lending opportunities, with a combination of warm leads, existing relationships and your own business development. You'll have the support of an established business while taking ownership of the end-to-end client and lending process.
n
The Role
n
You'll manage clients from initial enquiry through to settlement, providing tailored lending solutions and building long-term relationships.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Manage the full mortgage broking process from initial discovery through to settlement
n
Assess client objectives, financial position and borrowing capacity
n
Structure and recommend appropriate lending solutions
n
Manage applications, approvals, conditions and settlements
n
Build and maintain strong relationships with banks and non-bank lenders
n
Work closely with accountants, solicitors, valuers, buyer's agents and other stakeholders
n
Maintain a strong and organised sales pipeline
n
Identify refinancing, repricing and revaluation opportunities with existing clients
n
Convert qualified leads into settled loans
n
Develop additional business through personal networks, referrals and business development
n
Ensure all recommendations and submissions meet regulatory and compliance requirements
n
Maintain accurate,



complete and audit-ready client files
n

About You
n
We're looking for someone who is commercially minded, relationship-focused and confident managing clients through the lending process.
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
2–3+ years' experience across mortgage broking, banking, finance, real estate or a related sector
n
Strong understanding of property and lending markets
n
Excellent serviceability, analytical and numerical skills
n
Strong communication and stakeholder management capability
n
A proactive approach to business development
n
High attention to detail and solid follow-through
n
The ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines independently
n
A genuine interest in property and finance
n
A Diploma in Mortgage Broking or willingness to obtain this within the first three months
n
