Domestic Assistance Worker - Supporting Elderly + Vulnerable Clients At Home /n

This is a meaningful role where you'll help with basic domestic assistance, and bring a little joy to someone's day who may need it most. This is a daytime-only position, with work hours from 9.00a.m.-4:30p.m. Mon-Fri. No weekends or nights.

Key responsibilities

/n

Light domestic cleaning: vacuuming, mopping, dusting, bathrooms + kitchen

/n

Other light domestic tasks/general household upkeep

/n

Monitoring client welfare

/n

Respectful, friendly conversation with clients

/n

Reporting or flagging any concerns or emergencies via form submission

/n

About you

/n

Registered, insured + reliable motor vehicle (minimum third party insurance)

/n

Valid, unrestricted drivers licence

/n

Smart phone that has capacity to download and use apps + access to mobile data

/n

Valid National Police Check (or willingness to obtain at applicant's own cost)

/n

Valid First Aid (HLTAID011) + CPR (HLTAID009) Certificate (or willingness to obtain at applicant's own cost)

/n

Aged Care Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain at applicants own cost)

/n

Genuine care for clients and their well-being,



and willing to go the 'extra mile' when needed

/n

Reliability + consistency - our clients rely on us to support them with the things they can no longer do, which means they need us to show up consistently, as often as we can

Kilometer reimbursed at $1.05/km for travel inbetween clients
