We are currently seeking a Kitchen Production Cook to join our team on a casual basis.

About the Role /n

This role is ideal for an experienced cook who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment and takes pride in delivering quality food with consistency.

/n

Working minimum 2-3 days per week , you will support food preparation and production for Cornerstone Café, ensuring products are prepared efficiently and presented to a high standard.

/n

Initial availability is required on Mondays and Thursdays , with the roster expected to transition to Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays . Additional shifts and hours may be available during peak trading and busy periods.

Key Responsibilities /n

/n

- Prepare, cook and present menu items to established recipes and standards.

/n

- Support daily food production and preparation requirements.

/n

- Ensure food quality, consistency and presentation standards are maintained.

/n

- Assist with stock rotation, storage and inventory management.

/n

- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient work environment.

/n

- Follow all food safety, HACCP and WHS requirements.

/n

- Work collaboratively with chefs,



cooks and wider hospitality teams.

/n

- Contribute to efficient kitchen operations during busy service periods.

/n

- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as required.

/n

About You /n

You are reliable, organised and enjoy working as part of a busy kitchen team.

/n

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

/n

/n

- Previous experience as a Cook, Production Cook or Kitchen Team Member.

/n

- Experience working in a high-volume café, restaurant or hospitality environment.

/n

- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

/n

- Ability to work efficiently and maintain quality under pressure.

/n

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

/n

- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

/n

- Availability to work Mondays and Thursdays initially.

/n

- Flexibility to move to a Monday, Wednesday and Friday roster.

/n

- Availability for additional shifts during peak periods when required.

/n
