We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Chef to join our growing catering kitchen in Nerang.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy catering environment, takes pride in producing quality food and wants the opportunity to grow with the business.

Simple Catering Kitchen | Nerang The Role /n

While the role will initially be around 20–30 hours per week , there is potential for significantly more hours and increased responsibility for the right person as our catering operation continues to grow. Weekend work is required but won't always be both days.

We’re looking for someone who wants more than just a casual job and is interested in developing into a larger role within our kitchen team.

/n

You’ll be involved in:

/n

/n

- Preparing and producing high-volume catering orders

/n

- Following recipes, production sheets and kitchen procedures

/n

- Ensuring food is consistently presented and produced to a high standard

/n

- Working efficiently to meet catering deadlines

/n

- Food preparation, cooking and packing orders

/n

- Stock rotation and maintaining kitchen organisation

/n

- Following food safety and hygiene requirements

/n

- Checking orders carefully for accuracy before they leave the kitchen

/n

- Completing catering deliveries across the Gold Coast when required Working closely with the kitchen and catering team

/n

- Taking responsibility for the quality and presentation of your work

/n

- A qualified or experienced Chef

- Reliable and punctual

- Extremely detail-oriented

- Organised and able to work to deadlines

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced catering environment

/n

- Able to follow direction, recipes and established systems

/n

- Consistent with food quality and presentation

/n

- A team player with a positive attitude

/n

- Confident working independently when required

/n

- A confident and capable driver with a current driver’s licence

/n

- Comfortable completing catering deliveries across the Gold Coast

/n

- Someone who takes pride in getting the small details right

/n

/n

Experience in catering or high-volume food production is highly regarded.
