The Valley Estate is looking for an enthusiastic First Year Apprentice Chef to join the kitchen team and begin a culinary career at one of the Gold Coast's premier wedding and events venues. You'll be part of the kitchen team and develop real, hands‑on skills from day one, working in a premium wedding and events environment with exposure to different menus, large‑scale events, beautiful food presentation and professional service.

Key responsibilities /n

- Prepare and cook food in a professional kitchen

/n

- Work alongside experienced chefs during wedding and event services

/n

- Develop knife skills and fundamental cooking techniques

/n

- Prepare ingredients and complete mise en place

/n

- Plate and present dishes to a high standard

/n

- Work with quality produce and a variety of menus

/n

- Understand kitchen organisation and service

/n

- Follow food safety and hygiene standards

/n

- Work efficiently as part of a busy kitchen team

/n
