Store Manager | Paint Retail | Monday to Friday | $80,000–$85,000 + Super

Lead a successful paint store with an established Australian-owned business.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a proudly Australian-owned and operated business with a long history of manufacturing premium paints, finishes and protective coatings.

With a strong reputation built over generations, our client continues to grow through innovation, quality products and a genuine commitment to their customers and people. They are now seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead their store operations and support continued success.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys developing teams, building customer relationships and taking ownership of store performance.

About the Role

Reporting into the wider business, you will be responsible for the overall operations and success of the store, including:

- Leading, coaching and developing the store team
- Managing daily store operations and ensuring exceptional customer service standards
- Overseeing stock management, ordering and inventory levels
- Managing store financial performance, including P&L; responsibilities
- Building strong relationships with customers across residential, decorative, industrial and automotive paint sectors
- Supporting sales growth through product knowledge and customer engagement
- Ensuring efficient processes and a positive team culture across the store





This role will suit a Store Manager who enjoys being hands-on, thrives in a fast-paced setting and takes pride in delivering strong outcomes for both customers and the business.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Store Manager or retail leader who brings:

- Proven experience leading and developing a team
- Robust operational and organisational skills
- Experience managing stock, ordering and store processes
- Commercial awareness with an understanding of budgets and P&L; performance
- A strong customer focus with the ability to build lasting relationships
- A proactive, adaptable and hands-on leadership style

Experience within paint, coatings, hardware, trade sales or a related industry would be highly regarded; however, candidates with strong transferable retail leadership experience are encouraged to apply.
