Hays is currently recruiting Foreman for a national builder in Albany.

Full accommodation & relocation or FIFO options will be available for the right candidate with a high base salary of $160-180K + uplift.

Your new role

Working alongside an experienced Site Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing site operations, managing subcontractors, driving programme outcomes and coordinating the internal fit-out phase of a modular healthcare facility.

This role offers the chance to work on a landmark regional project while joining a company with a strong pipeline of healthcare work across Western Australia. Key responsibilities:

- Manage daily site operations and subcontractor activities.
- Coordinate all internal fit-out and finishing trades.
- Ensure works are delivered safely, on schedule and to a high standard of quality.
- Lead toolbox talks and promote a strong safety culture.
- Monitor programme milestones and proactively identify potential delays.
- Liaise with consultants, suppliers and client representatives.
- Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks.
- Manage defect rectification and project close-out activities.
- Support the Site Manager in achieving project objectives.

What you'll need to succeed

- Previous experience as a Foreman, General Foreman or Site Supervisor with a commercial builder.
- Proven experience delivering healthcare, hospital,



medical centre, aged care, education or complex commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of internal fit-out and finishing works.
- Ability to coordinate multiple trades within a live construction environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Solid understanding of WHS legislation and construction best practice.
- Trade qualification and/or building-related qualification advantageous.
- Current White Card and relevant site certifications.
- Healthcare project experience will be highly regarded
