What you’ll do

- Build scalable, reusable Service Now solutions including scripting, configuration, integrations, and customisations
- Engage with stakeholders to understand needs, refine scope and manage expectations
- Work closely with business analysts, solution architects, and service designers to translate requirements into prototypes and final solutions
- Ensure code / build quality and follow development standards
- Follow Dev Ops practices to boost efficiency and productivity
- Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues and implement bug fixes
- Ensure platform health through regular maintenance, upgrades, and secure coding practices
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to agile delivery practices
- Contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in software development roles
- Hands-on development on the Service Now platform, with a strong track record of delivering scalable and maintainable solutions
- Demonstrated experience diagnosing and resolving issues within the Service Now platform
- Ability to follow development standards and Dev Ops practices
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
- Service Now certifications like Service Now Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer and/or Certified Implementation Specialist in ITSM, HRSD, or CSM are a plus

This full-time position is fixed term until October 2027 at a HEW 6 Higher Education Level located in the Digital Technology Solutions department at Callaghan Campus.
