Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of the business. The role involves supervising staff, managing stock and suppliers, monitoring sales performance, assisting with purchasing and maintaining high customer service standards. The successful candidate will contribute to the efficient operation and ongoing performance of the retail business.

What You'll Be Responsible For

- Oversee daily retail operations, ensuring efficient store performance, product availability and appropriate customer service standards.
- Manage purchasing and stock levels, including ordering products, coordinating with suppliers and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Develop and implement sales, marketing and promotional strategies to support revenue growth and customer engagement.
- Monitor sales performance and assist with pricing decisions by reviewing sales information and market conditions.
- Provide customer service, respond to product enquiries and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Supervise, train and roster staff,



ensuring employees perform their responsibilities effectively and maintain workplace standards.
- Maintain financial and operational records, monitor business expenses and assist with budgeting and reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and maintain a clean, safe and well-presented retail environment.

Essential Criteria

- AQF Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Associate Degree or higher qualification, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the position.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in retail management.
- Ability to analyse sales information and implement strategies to improve business performance.
- Robust customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and make effective operational decisions.
