Trojan Recruitment Group is proud to be partnering with a leading global distribution business to find an experienced Health, Safety & Security Manager for their Eastern Creek Distribution Centre on a temporary basis.

About the Role

Please note this is a temporary position.

Our client is looking for an experienced Health, Safety & Security Manager to join their team at Eastern Creek. As the country Health & Safety representative for Australia, you'll be the on-site advisor and authority for all matters relating to the protection of people and company property - while also providing regional support to the broader APAC Health, Safety & Security network.
This is a broad, hands-on leadership role covering health & safety, security, compliance, and training across a site of approximately 550 FTE (full-time and casual).

What You'll Be Doing

- Developing, implementing, and overseeing health and safety programs to ensure compliance with statutory legislation and drive a safe working culture
- Identifying workplace hazards, conducting risk assessments, and implementing effective controls
- Leading incident investigations and ensuring corrective actions are in place
- Planning and maintaining the security program, including TAPA A facility compliance
- Supervising contracted security guards and acting as the primary liaison with security service providers
- Developing and maintaining the Business Continuity Plan and Emergency Response protocols
- Leading psychological hazard identification and risk management in line with WHS regulations
- Delivering safety and security training, inductions, and mentoring to staff and supervisors
- Liaising with local police, fire, and government agencies to ensure emergency preparedness




- Compiling reporting and statistics for management, with recommendations for continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

- Diploma of Work Health and Safety, Security and Risk Management (or equivalent)
- 7+ years' experience managing highly secure, multi-site facilities
- Extensive experience in the security of high-value assets
- Strong understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS), including evacuation and emergency access in high-security environments
- Comprehensive knowledge of WHS legislation and best practice standards
- Certified ICAM Investigation Facilitator (or relevant equivalent experience)
- Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- A university-level Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Science, or Business is preferred.
