About the Client
Our client is a leading Australian waste management and resource recovery organisation, providing comprehensive waste collection, recycling, treatment and disposal services to businesses, local councils and communities.
What You Will Be Doing
Our client is seeking a Bin Runner to join their team in Logan Central. The successful applicant will be required to work Monday-Friday, starting 7am working 6-7.6hr days.
In this position you will be:
- Enter allocated properties to collect waste from General Waste bins
- Ensure all general waste bins are fitted with a plastic liner
- Wheel bins containing considerable waste out to the kerb and present them for collection
- Assist with post-collection services by returning emptied bins to each residents original location
- Maintain productive movement throughout allocated areas to support timely bin servicing operations
What You Will Need
- Reliable Transport to the depot
- Physically fit role will include lots of walking, up to approx. 20km on a big day
- Reliable and hardworking attitude
- Previous experience in the waste industry desirable
