Your Pharmacy Internship

As an Intern Pharmacist, you will work under the supervision of an experienced registered Pharmacist who will support and mentor you as you progress through your internship.

You will gain hands-on experience across community pharmacy, developing your dispensing, counselling, communication and patient care skills in a supportive environment.

Your responsibilities will include

- Preparing prescriptions accurately and efficiently under supervision
- Counselling customers on prescription and over-the-counter medicines under supervision
- Assisting with Dose Administration Aids
- Providing friendly, patient-focused customer service
- Following pharmacy procedures, professional guidelines and relevant legislation
- Supporting the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy
- Building relationships with customers and local health professionals
- Developing your clinical knowledge and confidence throughout your internship

About You To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to have completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent)



before commencing your internship and be eligible to hold provisional registration as a pharmacist with AHPRA.
