Zarate Mechanics is a Family owned and operated Auto-motive business, with over 30 years’ experience in the industry. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated 3RD or 4TH year apprentice to join our team.
About the Role
- Minor servicing or repairing of light vehicles.
- Assist in inspections, writing job cards.
- Cleaning and maintaining working areas.
- Follow safe working practices in an automotive environment.
- Use and maintain tools and equipment specific to light vehicle automotive.
- Assist and observe mechanics on a daily basis.
About You
- Passionate about continuing your career as a mechanic
- basic computer skills
- Commitment to a 4 year apprenticeship - including both work and study requirements
- Strong sense of self-motivation, initiative, and the ability to follow instructions
- Great team work skills and a positive attitude towards helping others
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Clean cut and well presented
- Exceptional reliability and punctuality
- Current Drivers Licence
