Dubbo / Central West | Established portfolio + growth opportunity An established regional insurance business is looking for a either an experienced broker or motivated skilled looking for a rewarding career change.

This is a particularly good opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to their clients, understands regional business and wants more from their career than just a job.

You’ll work with a predominantly agricultural and commercial client base, managing renewals and ongoing advice while also identifying opportunities to grow the portfolio.

THE ROLE

You’ll take ownership of an existing portfolio while also helping grow the business across the region.

Your responsibilities will include

- Manage and develop an established portfolio of commercial and agricultural clients
- Provide ongoing advice, renewal and placement support
- Build strong relationships across the local business community
- Identify and convert appropriate new-business opportunities
- Work closely with insurers and internal operational support
- Manage compliance and debtor responsibilities associated with your portfolio
- Contribute to the longer-term growth of the regional business

ABOUT YOU

- Experienced insurance broker, OR motivated, client focused professional looking for a change
- Tier 1 insurance broking qualification as a minimum
- Diploma of Insurance Broking preferred
- Confidence managing client relationships independently
- Experience with agricultural, rural or regional clients highly regarded




- A professional and practical approach
- Strong relationship building skills
- Commercial awareness and an interest in new business development
- Ability to work autonomously while remaining part of a broader team
- A genuine interest in building something long term within the region

The preference is for someone based in or around Dubbo, although candidates elsewhere in the Central West will also be considered.
