EGC plays a pivotal role in supercharging outcomes across tourism, events, arts & culture and education, with a clear objective of positioning the Gold Coast as the lifestyle capital of Australia. /n /n About the Role: /n We’re looking for an Accountant to join our Finance team and support accurate and timely financial reporting across Experience Gold Coast. /n Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll contribute to month-end close, reconciliations, journals, revenue accounting and financial reporting, while working with teams across our diverse organisation spanning arts, culture, tourism, events and education. /n /n What You’ll Do: /n /n

- Support month-end close, including journals, general ledger reconciliations and reporting deliverables.

/n

- Prepare bank, prepayment, intercompany and payroll-related reconciliations, including journals and investigating discrepancies.

/n

- Reconcile and journal culinary and ticketing revenue.

/n

- Assist with BAS and FBT preparation and maintain financial records and controls.

/n

- Verify financial statements, ledgers and accounts, identifying and correcting discrepancies as required.

/n

- Support the Finance Manager and broader Finance team with adjustments, corrections, AR/AP activities and accounting projects as required.

/n /n /n What You’ll Bring: /n /n

- 3+ years’ relevant accounting experience.

/n

- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, with a professional accounting qualification or working towards one.

/n





- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence using Microsoft Office.

/n

- Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on accuracy and integrity.

/n

- Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and adapt to new systems and processes.

/n

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across the organisation.
