About the Role

You'll work closely with a diverse range of clients and be involved in all aspects of public practice accounting.

Key Responsibilities

- Preparation of financial statements
- Preparation and lodgement of income tax returns
- BAS preparation and ongoing compliance work
- SMSF accounting and taxation work (experience desirable but not essential)
- Regular liaison with the ATO and management of correspondence
- Responding to client queries and providing practical advice
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Working collaboratively with team members to deliver quality outcomes
- Studying, completed, or willing to undertake CA, CPA or IPA qualifications

About You

We are open to applications from both Intermediate and Senior Accountants.

You'll Ideally Have

- 2+ years' public practice experience (Intermediate) or 4-5+ years' experience (Senior)
- Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or equivalent qualification
- Strong understanding of Australian taxation principles
- Experience using Xero, MYOB, BGL or similar software
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- A proactive and professional approach to your work
- Studying, completed, or willing to undertake CA, CPA or IPA qualifications
