About KinAya Support KinAya Support is a growing NDIS provider delivering high-quality, person-centred disability supports across Adelaide. We are seeking a capable and highly organised Finance & Administration Officer (Rostering) to join our team.
About the role
This is a key full time position supporting KinAya’s financial administration, NDIS billing, staff rostering and day-to-day office operations.
Working closely with the Operations Manager, Director and Team Leaders, you will ensure invoices, records, staffing arrangements and administrative processes are accurate, timely and well managed.
Key responsibilities
Finance and billing
- Process NDIS invoices, including NDIA-managed, plan-managed and participant contributions where applicable
- Manage accounts payable, supplier invoices, reimbursements and purchase records
- Follow up outstanding invoices, remittances and payment enquiries
- Complete bank, credit-card, petty-cash and participant-expense reconciliations
- Assist with timesheet checks, payroll data preparation and staff allowance records
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports for management and external accountants
- Support budgeting, cash-flow monitoring and end-of-month administration
Administration and rostering
- Assist with preparing and maintaining staff rosters across SIL and community support services
- Coordinate shift coverage, leave, sick calls and urgent roster changes
- Communicate roster changes with support workers, Team Leaders and relevant stakeholders
- Maintain staff compliance records, including worker screening, police checks, qualifications and training
- Support onboarding and employment administration
- Maintain accurate participant,
staff and service records in relevant systems
- Respond to phone, email and general administration enquiries professionally
- Provide administrative support with incidents, compliance registers, document control and management tasks
About you To be successful, you will have:
- Experience in finance administration, bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable or NDIS billing
- Strong administration and rostering/scheduling experience
- High attention to detail and confidence working with financial information
- Experience using Xero, MYOB or similar accounting software
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and respond calmly to roster changes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A professional, discreet and confidential approach
- Experience in NDIS, disability, aged care, healthcare or community services is highly regarded
- Experience using ShiftCare, Brevity, Lumary, CareMaster or similar systems is desirable
Essential requirements
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or willingness to obtain one
- Current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
- Current Australian working rights
- Current driver’s licence
