The Company:

We are excited to be partnering with a growing organisation within the mining services industry in their search for an experienced and dedicated Finance Officer.

Based in Welshpool, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive finance team where you will gain exposure across a broad range of finance functions. The role will suit someone looking to develop their accounting skills, with the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities and progress within the organisation.

You will be focusing on:

· Managing end-to-end Accounts Payable processing across a high-volume setting

· Processing supplier invoices, matching purchase orders and resolving invoice queries

· Preparing payment runs and completing supplier statement reconciliations

· Assisting with Accounts Receivable functions including receipting and reconciliations

· Completing daily and monthly bank reconciliations

· Managing credit card expenses and reconciliations

· Assisting with month-end procedures, journals and general ledger reconciliations

· Maintaining accurate supplier and finance records

· Providing support with reporting and general finance administration

· Assisting with a small element of payroll processing and related administration





· Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks and process improvements

Role Requirements:

· Previous experience in a similar Finance Officer, Accounts Officer or accounting role

· Strong Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable experience

· Previous exposure to payroll is advantageous

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy across financial data

· Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

· Excellent organisational and time management skills

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment
