Why You Want to Work Here

- Stone is what we sell, but people are what the business actually runs on. You'll join a finance team where communication, attention to detail and being organised count for more than a qualification on paper.
- This is a genuine start in finance. No accounting degree, no prior finance job. If you're willing to learn, we'll take the time to teach you. You'll have a structured training program and a mentor who'll sit with you until you can run it yourself.
- You'll work Tuesdays and Wednesdays from our Dingley Village office and the rest of the week from home, enough in-person time to learn from the team, enough time at home to focus.

About You

- Maybe it's a knack for numbers, maybe it's just enjoying a good conversation — either way, you're one of those rare people who's just as comfortable with the numbers as the people
- If you say you'll call someone back Thursday, you call them back Thursday. Not because anyone's checking, but because you follow-through on what you say.
- You're the one with the colour-coded calendar and the list for the list. Juggling a few things at once doesn't stress you — it's when you do your best work.

Role Responsibilities Most days are a mix of two things: time on the phone and email with customers, and time working out why an account doesn't balance.

- Reconciling customer accounts,

investigating discrepancies and preparing debtor, ageing and cash collection reports for management.
- Following up overdue accounts by phone, email and other channels, using a calm and professional approach to support timely payment outcomes.
- Processing customer payments, allocating receipts and maintaining accurate debtor records.
- Answering customer queries, providing invoice copies and resolving account disputes.
- Preparing, updating and processing invoices, credit notes and account adjustments with a high level of accuracy.
- Monitoring customer credit limits, supporting credit control processes and assisting with trading terms.
- Working closely with sales teams, managers, customers and external parties to resolve queries, disputes and payment issues efficiently.

Selection Criteria To be considered, you’ll need:

- Customer service or administration experience

Candidates with prior experience in accounts receivable or credit control will be highly regarded.
