SATO Australia Pty Ltd is a world leader in the Auto ID industry, selling Data Collection Systems, printers, barcode scanners, labels, and software.

We are seeking a skilled Accounts Payables professional to join our Finance Team located at our Head Office in Mentone. The successful applicant will oversee the full accounts payable process, ensuring prompt and accurate payment of all invoices and fostering positive supplier relationships. Work hours for this role are daily i.e. Monday to Friday however offering the convenience of part-time working hours working shorter days.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

- Deliver high level, professional customer service

- Reconciliation of all supplier accounts

- Ensuring all supplier invoices are entered promptly and have been correctly authorised for payment

- Prepare electronic payment runs as directed and process manual payments where required

- Assist in preparation of accounts payable end of month roll over and reconciliation

- Reconcile and maintain intercompany transactions

- Prepare, complete and distribute reports as requested





- Respond to emails and telephone requests in a timely manner for both internal and external customers

- Assist in reporting and accounting as per regulatory and legal requirements including taxation, annual reporting and accounts

- Organise daily mail distribution, stationery orders and requirements

- Perform backup duties if required for staff travel, accommodation, and rental vehicle requirements for business travel purposes

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- The ability to multi-task and prioritise deadlines

- Robust computer literacy and proficiency with MS office suite and ERP systems

- Intermediate Excel skills
