BUSHkids is a not-for-profit organisation that has been at the heart of transforming lives of regional children across Queensland for 90 years. Our highly dedicated teams and volunteers are all driven by a shared vision that all children should have access to free allied health services regardless of where they live. As an Administration Officer at BUSHkids Mt Isa, you will play a key role in supporting our team in delivering our “Healthy Outback Kids” program along with essential Allied Health (including Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy) services to children and their families. In this role, you will be integral to ensuring the smooth operation of our services, creating a highly organised and supportive environment.
You will be responsible for supporting clinician appointments, outreach co-ordination, as well as event coordination, including workshops and group sessions. You will manage and ensure resources are available, manage data, client records, process and respond to referrals, as well as general administration support including preparing reports, managing records and coordinating meetings. At a centre level, you will also manage reception duties, greet clients and visitors, and answer incoming calls, email inbox management as well as general office supply management.
You will have a service delivery mindset working collaboratively with the team to identify opportunities for operational efficiencies along with service improvements.
This is a wonderful prospect to take on a highly rewarding supportive role, assisting families where your involvement will make both a meaningful and lasting impact. The 0.8FTE arrangement could be either worked across 4 days (ideally Tuesday to Friday) or hours worked across 5 days.

- Attractive salary $74,857- $76,306 base based on experience plus superannuation and portable long service leave. The base salary is full-time equivalent and would be pro-rata to permanent part-time hours.

About You
- Previous experience in a senior administrative role,
ideally within a highly regulated service environment would be highly desirable
- Flexible and adaptable nature who brings warmth and a positive energy
- Strong administration and organisational skills with a high attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Highly professional approach, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
- Proactive team player with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement

- Paid Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain before commencement - we will further support with cost reimbursement if you don't currently hold).
- Current C Class Drivers' Licence
- Evidence of Hepatitis B vaccination status
