Remuneration: $69,272.26 - $71,570.21 per annum

Where you'll be working

Located at Cumberland Hospital, North Parramatta, you'll join Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) and one of Australia's leading specialist mental health services. - Work within the historic Cumberland Hospital campus in North Parramatta.
- Support nurses, medical staff and allied health professionals across ward/unit environments.

What you'll be doing As an Administration Officer Level 2 (Ward Clerk), you'll provide timely, accurate administrative and transactional support that helps clinical teams deliver effective patient care.



You'll work under the direction of the Nurse/Unit Manager while using initiative to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

- Provide welcoming customer service to patients, families
- Maintain accurate patient information, records and inpatient files across iPIMS, SYNAPTIX and other systems.
- Coordinate documentation, patient property, clothing and ward/unit administrative requirements.
- Support the smooth flow of documents, patient files, pharmacy provisions and other ward requisites.
- Liaise with clinical and administrative teams to resolve day-to-day issues and respond effectively to competing demands.

- Effective communication skills including accurate spelling, positive comprehension, confidence in the spoken word and ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels.

- Solid organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Capacity to work under broad supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a team in a high pressure, high volume work environment.
- Proven experience dealing with patients/Clients and their families/carers.
